User Reviews Digital Access Pass - Membership Management Software

Digital Access Pass is described as membership software, but can do much more than that. When I first bought the program I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with it. I was selling digital downloads with ClickBank and needed a way to protect the links so that only people who had paid for them could access my products.

There are plenty of cheap and simple products available to protect ClickBank downloads. But after I tried a couple I wasn't entirely convinced that my non-techie customers would easily cope with them. The last thing you want is lots of emails asking "where is my download?" I bought Ravi Jayagopal's ClickBank Download Protector and then saw that he was also selling something called Digital Access Pass, which had a lot more functions. There was a free trial, so I decided to give it a try.

First Steps

The first thing you do with Digital Access Pass is create a "product". This can be a file, url, blog post or subscription (e.g. an email newsletter). You then tell Digital Access Pass whether the product is free, or set its price. There are also settings for recurring products. When someone signs up for your product, Digital Access Pass will email them a Thank You with their username, password and how to login to their personal membership page where their links are located.

Paying customers can sign up using a PayPal button or ClickBank link. For free memberships (e.g. newsletters) Digital Access Pass can create an html form which you copy to your web page or blog. When someone signs up using the form, Digital Access Pass will send them an autoresponder and add them to the members list.

A Working Example

Let's say you have set Digital Access Pass to handle delivery of an E-book which you are selling through PayPal. You have made some sales and the program has collected for you the names and email addresses of all your customers. So far so good. Now you produce a new E-book and decide to offer your previous customers a special discount. E-book #2 is on sale at $10 on your site or blog, but you want to offer previous customers a 20 per cent discount and sell them E-book #2 for only $8.

With Digital Access Pass, nothing could be easier. You create a separate web-page or blog post with this offer, add a new PayPal button with the discount price, and then tell DAP to protect this page so that only those who bought E-book#1 can access it.

Finally you write an email announcing the special offer, giving the link to the protected page. You ask Digital Access Pass to search for all customers of E-book #1, and blast them this email.

Affiliate Module

Your customers will also find an affiliate link on their personal membership page. If they want to refer new customers to you from their own website or blog (or even in emails) they can publish this link and Digital Access Pass can calculate all the stats and payments due.

DAP has made a big difference to my business. I am constantly finding new ways in which it can help me. The program is great already but is regularly upgraded with new features.
